Love Island 2023 - the Summer of Love
ITV has revealed that, for the first time ever, both male and female islanders will be entering into the villa together to make the series premiere 'one of Love Island's most flirtatious first episodes.'
In past seasons, it's either been the five girls or five boys who have headed in first, with the remaining islanders coming in one by one for the first coupling of the series.
How long is Love Island 2023 on for?
Love Island 2023 is expected to run for eight weeks, which is typically how long each series lasts.
The previous Love Island series began on Monday, January 16 and wrapped up with the Winter Love Island 2023 final on Monday, March 13.
Maya Jama ill be sticking around to guide our next set of islanders through their summer of love after replacing Laura Whitmore as the new Love Island host.
Talking about returning to host her second series of the show, Maya Jama said: "It feels so exciting. I was full of nerves for my first series because I was wondering what it would be like. Now, I know I feel really ready and excited, I just can't wait to get started!
"Now there's a bit more of an expectation, I just want to make sure that I live up to that expectation again... The pressure is on for my stylist because the dresses did very well last series!"
Iain Sterling—aka the voice of Love island will also continue to provide more jokes and quips for the tenth series, too.
